A car ferry and private boats depart daily from Trstenik to Mljet and from Orebić there is a car ferry going to Korčula approximately every 30 min - 1 hour. For those interested in diving there is a well equipped diving center. If you are traveling from Split take the road (magistrala) towards Ston. At the road sign for Ston (start of Pelješac peninsula) you turn right and follow the road for 42 kilometers until you see the road sign for Trstenik. If you are arriving from Dubrovnik you also follow the road towards Ston. After turning left at the sign for Ston (start of Pelješac peninsula) just follow the road for 42 km till the sign for Trstenik. During low season we harvest wine grapes and olives.
